Benson's Priorities

     

 

My vision is to provide leadership that will result in a vibrant, affordable and a diverse city of opportunity,
in which all citizens enjoy their neighborhoods,
feel safe and know they will be heard.


Establishing a mandatory periodic Charter review process  for the City, with direct citizen input

Establishing a Master Plan approach for the continuing development and redevelopment of the City, with direct citizen input 

Making budget priorities conform to the goals of the City's Master Plan 

Assertively attracting diverse businesses to the City that complement the goals of the City's Master Plan 

Developing and supporting safe and clean neighborhoods 

Revitalizing and invigorating the mature areas of our City 

 


Strengthening the dialogue between "City Hall" and the residents of our City 

Developing and maintaining better working relationships with surrounding municipal, county, state and federal governments 

Promoting recreational and leisure opportunities on an intergenerational nature 

Pushing to establish term limits for City Commissioners
